A look into the lives of our Community Creatives
What inspired you to venture into photography?
I actually started out doing a lot of makeup work for photoshoots and filming, then did a lot of youtube videos and that slowly progressed into me wanting to capture all my makeup creations. And eventually that led into learning how to take photos of my makeup looks and I ended up loving it so much! It turned into not just creating makeup looks but creating a whole photo from styling, set and the overall aesthetic of the photo.
"I really love doing fashion/artistic shoots. My favorite things to shoot are pretty much anything with a fun theme with cool props or integrating different materials or techniques not usually used for photoshoots. I also really like taking landscape and nature pictures that capture the beauty of all the wilderness around me. Nature soothes the soul and I just want to translate that into a photo."
"I want people to feel inspired to go out and explore the world and go out on their own great adventures."
"I love slim fitting shirts especially in photos, it helps create great lines and a clean look to photos. But it also gives my models confidence in their movements and their appearance. Nothing makes a better photo than someone who feels great in what they're wearing and how they look."
"My day job is a UX Engineer/Designer, but I also teach aerial silks and do a lot of craft projects. I make and occasionally sell hand lotions, candles, crochet plushies."
