A look into the lives of our Community Creatives
What inspired you to venture into photography?
I originally started taking photos in high school as the class publicist. I then chose to go into the military and decided to purchase a camera since I was going to be traveling often. I was always fascinated with photography in books and magazines because I felt they did more in describing a time, place and style.
"I currently enjoy minimalist and fashion photography. Minimalist photography is all about isolating subjects and identifying what you want the viewer to focus on. That carries over into fashion where I'm trying to bring out the best in an individual, their style and the context they're in."
"I hope people get a sense of curiosity and zen with my photos. I also really enjoy when people get excited because I feed off of others energy."
"In my menswear photos, I am very much a perfectionist. That goes into the clothes they wear because I'm a firm believer in "look good, feel good". If you put the effort into looking good, chances are you are definitely feeling cool and confident."
"Currently in the US Marine Corps and I plan on going to school in the fall, fashion and product photography on the side hustle."
"Paris."
"23mm f2."
"Any cafe."
"Love the Sudoku."
"A classic watch."
